Das früh-klassizistische Herrschaftshaus Jakobsbrunnen wurde 1790 gebaut und im Jahre 2001 vollständig renoviert. Auf dem Grundstück befinden sich neben dem Haupthaus auch die alten Stallungen und zwei weitere Gebäude. Es befindet sich im Winterthurer Stadtquartier “Inner Lind”, einem der ältesten und beliebtesten Orte im Stadtzentrum, zwei Gehminuten vom historischen Stadtkern und nur 10 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Trotz seiner zentralen Lage liegt der Jakobsbrunnen ganz in der Nähe des Waldes auf dem Goldenberg von wo aus sich eine malerische Sicht auf die Stadt bietet.
Winterthur, die sechstgrösste Stadt der Schweiz ist ein kultureller Geheimtipp. Mit der Bahn ist sie vom Flughafen aus in 13 Minuten zu erreichen, vom Zentrum von Zürich aus in 17 Minuten.

The late baroque, early classical style mansion “Jakobsbrunnen” (Jacob’s fountain) was built in 1790 and totally renovated in 2001. The estate comprises the main house, old stables and other buildings. It is situated in one of Winterthur’s quarters called “Inner Lind” one of the oldest and most popular places, of the city centre, two minutes walk from the old part of town and just 10 minutes from the main station. Despite the central position it is only a short walk to the edge of the golden mountain forest “Goldenberg”, which offers a great view over the city.
Winterthur, the sixth-largest Swiss city is a little known oasis for cultural events. It is only 13 minutes away from the airport by rail and 17 minutes from Zurich city centre.

Malgré cette situation centrale, on est en 12 minutes à pied au bord de forêt du “Goldenberg”, montagne à partir de laquelle on a une vue imprenable sur la ville.
